Tickets are now available for the final home international tour of the summer as the Proteas Women take on India in a T20 International (T20I) series from 17 to 27 April in Durban, Johannesburg and Benoni.

Fans can visit cricket.co.za to secure their seats for what is sure to be a spectacle.

The five-match series will form part of the teams’ preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England, taking place between 12 June to 5 July. This will be the first time these two sides face each other since the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup final in India last year, which saw the hosts lift the 50-over title.

The first two T20Is will be held at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in Durban on 17 and 19 April. The tour will then shift to Gauteng, with two matches played at the DP World Wanderers Stadium on 22 and 26 April before the series is wrapped up with the fifth T20I at Willowmoore Park on 27 April.

Fans can look forward to a vibrant matchday experience featuring thrilling cricket, a family-friendly atmosphere and boundless entertainment across all venues, with supporters also getting the chance to get up close and personal with their favourite Proteas stars.

Proteas Women captain, Laura Wolvaardt, commented: “This is a very exciting series to have as our last big assignment before the T20 World Cup; taking on India in our backyard, particularly after last playing each other in the World Cup final last year. We are also in the same group as them for this year’s T20 World Cup, so we will take a lot from these five matches.

“What I look forward to the most about this tour is getting another opportunity to play in front of our people. The support the team has been getting throughout the summer has been incredible, so I cannot wait to see what the turnout will be when we close off with a five-match series against India.”

“I urge all supporters to go out and buy their tickets, and we will go out there and do our best to make you proud.”
