The SPAR Grand Prix Challenge reaches the halfway mark on Saturday with the running of the third SPAR Women’s 10km Challenge at Pretoria University’s sports grounds.
For the past 10 years, the SPAR Women’s 10km Challenge has been one of the most significant events on the South African athletics calendar. Thousands of women from all walks of life take to the streets in the five Challenge races, which are held in Port Elizabeth, Durban, Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Some of South Africa’s top runners will be competing in the SPAR Women’s 10km Challenge with Bokomo in Randburg on Sunday, and a fierce battle for top honours is expected.
