Waters to Captain SA at World Champs

Siyoli Waters has been chosen to captain SA’s squash team in the Women’s World Team Championships in France after an impressive showing at the Macau open in China. Waters, who is ranked 48, beat 17th ranked Australian Donna Urqhart.

Diana and Angie Remain Unbeaten

Front-runners Diana Argyle and Angie Clifton-Parks continued their winning ways in the second round of the 2008 De Beers SA National Squash Doubles Championships at the Johannesburg Country Club on Tuesday.

De Beers Backs Doubles Nationals

De Beers will sponsor the SA National Squash Doubles Championships for the second successive year, when the event gets underway at the Johannesburg Country Club on Monday 3rd March 2008.

Province Dominate in PE

  Western Province continued their stranglehold on the 2007 PWC Kaplan Cup Inter-Provincial Squash Championships, when they inflicted a 17-6 win on Easterns in the fourth round of the competition, being played in Port Elizabeth.  

WP Claim Kaplan Cup Hat-Trick

  Western Province swept to their third consecutive runaway victory in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Kaplan Cup being played in Port Elizabeth when they demolished Gauteng 20-4.  

PE Hosts Top Squash Women

Port Elizabeth plays host to the five-day annual inter-provincial team squash championships from Monday 9th-Friday, 13th July, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers for the 5th consecutive year.

Kaplan Cup IPT Comes to PE

  For the fifth consecutive year PricewaterhouseCoopers will sponsor the prestigious annual Inter-Provincial team squash championships for men and women, to be hosted in Port Elizabeth from 9th-13th July.

Top seeded Tenille Swartz has progressed through to the finals of the SA National Squash Championships, being played in Johannesburg this weekend. 

Farrah/Vivienne in Doubles Win

The Northern Gauteng pairing of Farrah Fenner and Vivienne Doeg needed 95 minutes to subdue Pamela Dollenberg and Sharon Wakeford in the De Beers SA National Squash Doubles Championships women’s final, and won the title for the first time.
