Western Province Record Victory as CSA U16 Nears Final

Western Province recorded a convincing 80-run victory over Free State on Day 4 of CSA U16 Girls Week in Gqeberha. 

Alexia Kontopirakis top-scored for the winning side with 21 runs. 

Border recorded their third win of the tournament against Boland. Lathithia Swartbooi of Border picked up 4 wickets on the day.

Mpumalanga won their game against SWD by 29 runs, with Sveva Moere picking up 4 runs. 

The KZN Coastal side suffered a defeat against Northerns. Lesego Nkosi of the Northerns side finished her bowling on 4 -2. 

North West beat Kei with 7 wickets in hand. Lerato Kotokoane and Mpho Mabasa both picked up 4 wickets each. 

Megan-Lee Mans was the top scorer for the Limpopo side as they claimed victory over Northern Cape, with 7 wickets in hand. 

Gauteng added to their tally with another win over Easterns, with Kayleen van Rooyen and Thuto Thibedi both picking up 2 wickets for their side. 

KZN Inland lost their match against Easterns, after they were restricted to only 53 runs in 20 overs. 

The final day of the CSA Girls U16 Week takes place on Friday, 17 December and streamed live by Pitch Vision.
