Kayla Richards’ Olympic Dream Come True

South Africa’s physiotherapist and owner of Physio on the MOVE, Kayla Richards, has been selected as part of the medical team assisting Team SA at the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Richards had to wait a year to get the opportunity to got to Tokyo after the prestigious event was postponed in 2020 due to the global Coronavirus outbreak.

In a previous interview on gsport, the BSc Physiotherapy graduate spoke about her Olympic dream being one of her biggest goals along with continuing her passion for being involved in sports.

“I’d like to continue being involved with sports and at the same time grow my practice and brand of physiotherapy, whilst changing how people view the industry.”

Richards was previously part of the medical team at the Confederation of University and Colleges Sports Association (CUCSA) Games (Botswana 2018) and FISU World University Games (Napoli 2019 Summer Universiade).
