Cape Town women of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels will have the perfect opportunity to get their bodies beach-ready this November with the return of Adventure Boot Camp.

Starting on Monday, 19 November 2007, this four-week exercise programme will take place at twelve venues across the Cape Peninsula, including Kirstenbosch, Fish Hoek, Willowbridge Mall in Bellville, Hout Bay and Camps Bay.

Adventure Boot Camp holds the unique position as the only outdoor exercise programme exclusively for women, and has enjoyed rapid expansion around the Cape Peninsula in the last twelve months.

“Adventure Boot Camp’s success lies in the fact that women from all walks of life train together and motivate each other in a fun and safe environment,” says Huenu Solsona, director of the company.

Whether you are an exercise fanatic who wants an all-round fitness routine, or someone who needs a total body make-over, Adventure Boot Camp offers women the opportunity to train at their own pace and push themselves as hard as they can.

Campers can sign up for three or five classes per week.  And while first-time campers can expect to pay R690 or R560, depending on the number of classes they want to take, returning campers enjoy significant discounts.

“At first glance the camp fees seem expensive, but if you consider that it comes to approximately R40 per class, it is not only reasonable but also money well spent,” adds Solsona.

In addition to hour-long classes, camp fees include a t-shirt and 6-month subscription to SHAPE magazine for first-time campers while all campers receive a number of free gifts and discount vouchers from a host of health and wellness providers in Cape Town.

Campers are also invited to enjoy optional extras like Power Yoga
Saturdays, hikes, monthly special outings (incl. sand boarding or
surfing) and nutrition seminars.

There’s no reason not to invest in an hour of “me-time” and get re-energised and fit among like-minded women.
