Prioritizing Work Experience Pays Off

One of the benefits of gsport being part of the South African Media Innovation Program (SAMIP) is the opportunities created in terms of work experience.

Over the festive season, gsport gave nine female students the opportunity to join the team and work in women’s sport media to gain valuable on the job training.

Tasks included research, writing, activating social media, presenting and interviewing.

Congratulations to Bronwen Bain, Dineo Modise, Karabo Mavuso, Koketso Kgogome, Mabongi Gazu, Mandisa Ntuli, Valencia Seshoene, Venice Ditshego and Zintle Tunce for putting their best foot forward for women’s sport and helping us unearth new stars across the country.
