Banyana Banyana midfielder, Refiloe Jane, recently announced that she will be an ambassador and student for HFPA Fitness Academy.
Affectionately known as ‘Fifi’, Jane has made a name for herself as a midfielder for AC Milan and Banyana Banyana. She is now using her platform to help young girls who had the same aspirations as her.
The 28-year-old hopes to use all the knowledge that she gains from HFPA Fitness Academy to help herself in her profession, as well as everyone around her.
She recently shared on Twitter: “I am extremely excited to announce that I have joined HFPA as an ambassador and also as a student.
“I am a firm believer in education, health, sports and fitness. I cannot wait to get started with my first course (Performance Coaching) and use all the knowledge to my everyday sport life to help me grow and help those around me.”
This is not the first time Jane has used her platform, knowledge and skills to help others. In 2018, she established The Refiloe Jane Foundation and managed to host a young girls’ coaching and life skills clinic which was the foundation’s first event.
We are excited to see what opportunities her partnership with HFPA Fitness Academy brings for young girls in the country.
