SA Duo Sign Deals with Three-Time Kosovan Women’s League Winners, KFF Mitrovica

South African duo, Zanele Nhlapho and Andisiwe Mgcoyi, will be playing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League next season after signing a new deal with Kosovan Women’s League side, KFF Mitrovica.

The club announced the signing of both players on a one-year-deal on Sunday, 2 August 2020.

Centre back Nhlapo and forward Mgcoyi, arrive from Albanian Sasol League team, FC Apollonia. They are KFF’s first acquisitions in the current transfer window.

Both ladies join the growing list of South African players making crucial moves on the international stage, which always bodes well for our national set up.

So far, Amanda Mthandi has joined Spanish outfit, CD Badajoz, after leaving Sasol Women’s League side University of Johannesburg. Nothando Vilakazi moved to EDF Logrono, while Glasgow Rangers secured the services of  Banyana captain, Janine Van Wyk. Thembi Kgatlana is now with SD Eibar and Jermaine Seoposenwe was captured by Portugal’s SC Braga.

This past week, Belarusian Women’s top-flight Championship side, FC Dinamo Minsk signed Lebogang Ramalepe and Rhoda Mulaudzi.
