The fifth and final T20I match between hosts New Zealand and South Africa was abandoned due to persistent rain and a wet outfield at University Oval on Thursday, 13 February 2020.
The White Ferns had already wrapped up the series with a 3-1 victory after a 69-run win on Monday.
Having lost the series, the Momentum Proteas will be aiming to use the coming week to warm-up and sharpen their skills ahead of their first ICC Women’s T20 World Cup match against England Women on Sunday, 23 February 2020.
The team’s first warm-up match is on Sunday, 16 February against Sri Lanka and a second game on Tuesday against tournament hosts, Australia.
