Kirsten Rudgeley maintained her dominance on day three of the LET’s Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España with a composed four-under round of 68, at the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas in Marbella, Spain, on Saturday, 25 November, 2023.

Holding the top spot overnight, the Australian displayed consistent play, further solidifying her lead in the tournament, maintaining her composure throughout the round without any significant setbacks on her scorecard. Notching essential birdies on the third, ninth, 10th and 12th holes, she sits confidently at 13-under-par, demonstrating remarkable steadiness on the course.

Sharing the second place at 11-under-par are Anne Van Dam from the Netherlands and India’s Aditi Ashok. Van Dam surged up the leaderboard with a commendable bogey-free 65 (-7), while Ashok showcased a commendable performance despite facing challenges, concluding the day with a round of 68 (-4).

In a closely contested battle, Belgium’s Manon De Roey, France’s Celine Boutier, and Spain’s Ana Peláez Trivino sit tied for the fourth position at nine-under-par. De Roey expressed contentment with her performance and aims to sustain the momentum into the final round. Boutier and Peláez Trivino maintained their consistency, remaining firmly in contention for the title.

As the tournament heads into its final round, notable players like England’s Gabriella Cowley, Spanish amateur Andrea Revuelta, and the 2022 Race to Costa del Sol champion Linn Grant are tied for seventh at eight-under-par, setting the stage for an intense finale.

Adding excitement to the day’s play, Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen impressed by firing an outstanding 64 (-8), equalling the course record, setting the stage for an exhilarating final round.

South Africa’s leading contender Lee-Anne Pace carded a 1-over par 73 in a round featuring four bogeys against three birdies, and saw the leaders move out of striking distance on a share of 15th place.

Nicole Garcia signed for a round of 72 after two opening rounds of 71, for a share of 25th place, while Casandra Alexander double-bogey on the 11th ruined an otherwise par day in Spain.
