Day nine of the Telkom saw the Free State Crinums regain the top of the 2024 Telkom Netball League Division A leaderboard, after Jaguars lost to Fireballs in a highly contested match that left fans and analysts swayed.
The Free State team’s 11 points keeps them ahead of the Gauteng Fireballs, with the Gauteng Jaguars dropping to third position on the leaderboard.
Despite a tough start with six straight defeats, the Baobabs from Limpopo aim to regroup and bounce back before the next round of matches commencing on 31 May 2024.
The Kingdom Stars maintain their first place position in the 2024 Telkom Netball League Division B with 6 victories and 12 points. The Kingdom Stars lead the Eastern Cape Comets, followed by the Free State Sonoblomo in third place.
In Division B the KwaZulu-Natal teams, went head to head in a highly anticipated match between the Kingdom Stars and the Kingdom Queens. This match however ended in favour of the Kingdom Queens securing the victory.

“The Limpopo Lillies in last place in division B are still seeking their first win after seven matches, but redemption may be on the horizon as they face off against the Kingdom Queens this Sunday.
In Sunday’s matchups feature Division B teams going head-to-head, aiming for a shift in goal differences and overall performance as they wrap up the first leg of the Telkom Netball League 2024.
