Want to Volunteer and Attend the 2011 gsport Awards?

gsport… for Girls! is on the look-out for six young women to volunteer their services to the 2011 gsport Awards, to assist with event registration duties, guest seating duties, and on-stage assistance during the Awards.

Caster, Pietie and Noko nominated for gsport Awards

Athlete Caster Semenya, hockey star Pietie Coetzee and football ace, Noko Matlou, will battle it out for top honours at the 2011 gsport Awards, which takes place in exactly one month’s time, on 1 August 2011, at the prestigious Wanderers Club in Illovo, Johannesburg.

It’s gsport Awards Time!

It’s back! The 5th Annual gsport Awards take place on 3 August 2010 at the prestigious Wanderers Club in Johannesburg. The gsport Awards celebrates the best of South African women and lauds the valuable contributions of individuals dedicated to the promotion of women in sport in South Africa.

Sterne v Argyle in Final

Tomorrow’s women’s final at the SA National Squash Championship will see a clash between top seeds Farrah Sterne and Diana Argyle. Sterne  disposed of Siyole Lusaseni (WP) in straight games while Argyle after edging through the first game 10-8 against Western Province’s Milnay Louw took the next two games 9-2 9-5.
